Passengers joining direct should report at the arrival hall as per Unite travels schedule or meet in the lobby of the hotel booked for the group.
Once on the tour, as per airline regulation, no change of data, sector or extension of air tickets is permitted. Any change must be pre planned and processed at the time of booking the tour in India.
PERSONAL EXPENSES ON THE TOUR:
You need to carry money for your shopping and personal expenses like tips, optional tours, and mineral water. Lunch, Tea/coffee, soft drinks, telephone calls, laundry, mini bars, pay channels on TV, toilets etc.
Please note that continental Europe 3,1/2 hrs behind India time UK is 4,1/2 hrs behind India time .The ideal time for your family to call you from India is 0930 hrs India time, which will be 0600 hrs in Continental Europe.
Please carry one piece of luggage per person. For air travel, the baggage allowance is 23 kgs per person for luggage and 5 kgs for hand baggage in Oman/ Qatar/ Emirates Airways. We suggest that you carry one set of medicine, clothes along with toiletries (without scissors) in your hand baggage. Money and valuables should be kept with you on your person or in your hand baggage.
We recommend that one should travel as light as possible & carry 15 Kgs per person, as there is no portages included on your tour and heavy luggage would cause you great inconvenience while on the tour.
Warm clothing, 2 sweaters/pullovers, Shawl, 1 warm socks, casual clothing. Avoid carrying heavy woolens. You must carry a cap, sunglasses a folding umbrella and comfortable walking shoes. (Canvas or track shoes).
PUNCTUALITY ON THE TOUR:
Your itinerary has been specially designed to ensure that you get the maximum coverage during your holidays. We require your cooperation in being punctual. Your sightseeing and excursions are pre-booked and if the group is delayed, the delayed would actually deprive you of your own sightseeing time. Please do understand that punctuality is solely in your interest to ensure that you have full benefit of all services included in the package. The entire group may be delayed and may lose valuable time or opportunity due to few people delaying the whole group.
We have carefully chosen an air-conditioned video coach for your comfort in Europe, since most of your traveling would be by coach. We request you to assist us in keeping the coach neat and clean. Please do not eat foodstuff in the coach as there is a possibility of some leftover falling all over the coach can cause bad smell. As per law coach driver allows 20 KG bag/ suitcase per person (it is advisable to carry less weight in Europe because there is no Porterage service in hotels). Please do not leave behind any valuables and travel documents in the coach when going out for meals & sightseeing. Also note bus is reserved for 11 hours per day as per the European Touristic Bus Law.
While checking into the hotels wait in the lobby or coach as advised by the tour manager. Crowding near him would only delay the check in process. Your hotels have been specifically chosen keeping in mind the location and space availability. Most hotel rooms are not very big & not air conditioned because of the cold weather and may have facilities like mini bar, pay television channels, telephone etc. Please note that these facilities are not complimentary and have to be paid directly to the hotel for, based on actual usage.
For groups most of the hotels provide standard rooms, Twin / Double / Triple room size will remain the same, but in triple room hoteliers provide extra rollway bed or sofa cum bed.
In Europe it is safe to drink Tap water, located in your bathroom. In case you don’t like it you can purchase water bottle directly from the hotel or from any grocery store at your own cost.
Please ensure that there are no damages done to your hotel room during your stay since the same would be charged to you directly by the hotel.
It is recommended while taking bath keep the curtain inside the bathtub because in the bathroom there is no drainage except the bath tub & most important while stepping inside the bath tub please be careful, bath tub can be slippery from inside. Don’t forget to adjust the water temperature before taking the shower.
Most of the hotels don’t have tea kettle facility, we suggest you to carry your own kettle for your own bed tea.
Continental breakfasts includes bread / baguette/ toast, butter, jam, tea, coffee, milk, juice, cereals/cornflakes, honey, croissant etc. Meals are served in the finest Indian restaurants. Lunch will be Vegetarian (buffet / pack) only if it is included. There is a choice of Jain / veg / nonveg meals if it is included. The menus are fixed in advance and la carte is not possible.
TOUR MANAGER / LOCAL GUIDES / LOCAL REPRESENTATIVE:
We request you to kindly cooperate with the Tour Managers and abide by his instructions for a successful and memorable tour. Please note that, especially in Europe, Tour Manager plays a very important role in making your tour a memorable one.
Tipping in Europe unlike many parts of the world is something that is expected of anyone providing you a service, for example: Public toilets attendants need to be tipped nominally after use 50 cents per passengers. Tour Manager, Guides, etc. (Tips NOT Included EURO 2 Per Passengers for the driver). Your tour Manager who spends a large part of the day showing you all interesting places giving all information, taking care & updating you for your safety, it is culture to tip him a nominal amount of Euro 01 per person per day for the duration of the tour. Please note that the Tour Manager, especially in Europe, plays a very important role in making your tour a memorable one.
Voltage in Europe is 220/110 volts and in London it is 240 volts. Only 2 pins plugs are used in whole Europe. We suggest you to carry your own international multi adapter.
